Pastor LUKE HARRIS-FERREE (they/he)

Rev. Luke Harris-Ferree (they/he) hails from a small town in Western Ohio and has spent time living in Seattle, WA. Since August 2021, Pastor Luke has gratefully served the people of Grace Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Evanston. Ordained the weekend before the COVID-19 lockdown, Pastor Luke is invigorated by exploring new ways to be the church in this ever-changing world. While being a deep skeptic of the institutional church, Pastor Luke remains deeply committed to it. As a good Lutheran pastor, they are committed to reformation and long to see the church reform its structures so that all people can flourish and come to know God without fear of harm or rejection.

Their passions include social justice, soccer (Go Crew!), binge-watching Netflix, and Costco! When not at church, Pastor Luke can be found spending time with their spouse, Kate, and two young children.

(Pastor Luke's sabbath days are Friday and Saturday)
